2019 Mazda CX-3
The all-new 2019 Mazda CX-3 subcompact crossover SUV has been majorly redesigned with an upgraded interior and enhanced powertrain. The model was first unveiled at the 2018 New York International Auto Show and is available now at Bert Ogden Edinburg Mazda.
Powertrain & Performance
The CX-3 takes its power from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder SKYACTIV®-G engine, which produces 148 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque. With the standard front-wheel-drive platform, the CX-3 yields up to 29 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway, or 31 mpg combined.* With available all-wheel drive, fuel economy figures clock in at 27, 32, and 29 miles per gallon in the city, on the highway, and combined, respectively.*
Parents with lots of kids appreciate a spacious interior, as do thrill seekers who regularly leave town with nothing but their car and everything they can pack inside it. That’s why it’s great that the compact Mazda CX-3 can comfortably seat up to five and boasts up to 44.5 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded down.
Staying connected on the go is crucial for dedicated workers and families whose kids have hectic schedules. The standard MAZDA CONNECT™ infotainment system in the 2019 Mazda CX-3 makes this easy. The infotainment system, which is controlled using the rotary Multifunction Commander Control in the center console, offers smartphone integration for hands-free calls, navigation, music, and more —delivered via a 7-inch touch screen. Thrill seekers who enjoy a good time should consider upgrading to the Bose® seven-speaker surround sound system because there is no better way to enjoy a road trip than with crystal clear tunes.
No matter your background, you will likely be spending a fair amount of time in your 2019 Mazda CX-3. That’s why interior comfort is so crucial. To that end, the Mazda CX-3 is available with soft Lux Suede® trim and leather-trimmed sport seats. The compact SUV boasts a number of active noise cancelling features for a quieter ride. For the ultimate convenience, the Mazda CX-3 includes 60/40 split-folding rear seats for easy cargo management.
The 2019 Mazda CX-3 sees a number of exterior updates this year depending on trim level, including a new LED combination tail light design, new grille design, new piano black exterior accents, new chrome exterior accents, a new 18-inch alloy wheel design, and a newly available Soul Red Crystal exterior paint color.
Safety is the number one priority for families when selecting a new vehicle, and the new Mazda CX-3 does not disappoint. The suite of i-ACTIVSENSE® safety features is comprehensive; some features come standard while others are available. Among these technologies are optional High Beam Control, the optional Traffic Sign Recognition System, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, optional Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop & Go, the optional Lane Departure Warning System, an optional adaptive front-lighting system, optional Smart Brake Support with Collision Warning, optional Advanced Smart City Brake Support with Pedestrian Detection, and Blind Spot Monitoring.
