2020 Mazda CX-30: 5-Star Overall Score for Vehicle Safety | Edinburg, TX
The 2020 Mazda CX-30 may be a newcomer in the Mazda SUV lineup, but already it is earning praise left and right for its commitment to safety. Shortly after earning a Top Safety Pick distinction from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, the new Mazda CX-30 managed a 5-Star Overall Score for Vehicle Safety in the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s New Car Assessment Program.
The Mazda CX-30 is designed to help keep occupants safe and help reduce injury in the event of a collision. More importantly, Mazda has packed the CX-30 with a wide range of crash avoidance technologies that, under proper conditions, actively work to help prevent those collisions from ever happening. Among those technologies are Mazda Smart Brake Support (with forward collision warning and crash imminent braking) and Lane Departure Warning.
You can also opt for available i-ACTIVSENSE® safety technologies on the 2020 CX-30. These include Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop & Go, an Adaptive Front-Lighting System, Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, High Beam Control, Driver Attention Alert, and Lane-keep Assist.
“With our customers always in mind, safety is a top priority for Mazda, and we are proud to have the CX-30 earn the NHTSA’s top rating – the NCAP 5-star rating,” stated Mazda North American Operations President Jeff Guyton. “Our i-ACTIVSENSE® suite of technologies are designed to assist our customers in enjoying a sense of well-being and safety while driving.”
