Technology features available with the 2020 Mazda CX-30

The 2019 model year has been a very special one for the Mazda lineup available at dealerships like Bert Ogden Mazda Edinberg. Most of the lineup has picked up a new generation of connectivity technology. This commitment is being continued in the manufacturer’s newest addition to its crossover SUV lineup. The technology features available with the 2020 Mazda CX-30 will almost certainly pull it even with its top rivals, if not ahead of most of them. There are still a few more details we are waiting to learn about the all-new Mazda CX-30. But in the meantime, our team of product experts thought it would be helpful to give potential buyers a glimpse of what they can expect to see when it’s finally for sale in our showroom.

READ MORE: Why is it called the Mazda CX-30?

Right off the bat, the manufacturer was very quick to point out that the 2020 Mazda CX-30 will be available with its Driver Monitoring system. This device uses both an infrared camera and infrared LEDs to observe the driver’s behavior. If it senses that the person behind the wheel starts to get drowsy or is being inattentive, it will sound an alert to get the driver’s attention. The 2020 Mazda CX-30 will also feature additional safety systems, Front Cross Traffic Alert as well as Cruising and Traffic Support. These new sensors will bolster the effectiveness of the entire i-ACTIVSENSE™ suite.

In the event the safety systems cannot prevent a crash, the 2020 Mazda CX-30 will introduce a knee airbag to the suite of airbags that are already equipped in most Mazda vehicles. Even the hood of the all-new Mazda CX-30 is designed to keep people as safe as possible if a collision happens.

Will it have smartphone apps?

We have yet to see if the infotainment system equipped in the 2020 Mazda CX-30 will feature smartphone compatibility. However, it seems very unlikely that it will arrive to American shores without providing access to these applications.

If you want to make sure you’re the first one in your neighborhood to own the 2020 Mazda CX-30, make an appointment with a Bert Ogden Mazda in Edinburg product expert today to start the pre-ordering process.
