2020 Mazda CX-9 New Captain’s Chairs

The Mazda CX-9 has always ranked among the best vehicles in its class in terms of overall refinement. For the new model year, Mazda is introducing a set of captain’s chairs for the first time. Customers will need to choose the Touring Premium Package or Grand Touring trim grade to be able to have the individual seats in the second row. Better yet, Grand Touring models of the 2020 Mazda CX-9 will offer heated second-row seats for those cold mornings. Additionally, Mazda engineers and designers have included a pair of USB charging ports and cupholders on the back of the center console for passengers in the second row.

If there are people sitting in the third row, they will also be able to keep their devices charged with their own set of USB-based chargers.

Performance upgrade

Strong performance scores have long been another important hallmark of the Mazda CX-9. The 2020 model arriving later this fall at dealerships like Bert Ogden Mazda will be able to make up to 320 pound-feet of torque when the tank is filled with high octane fuel. Previous versions of the three-row crossover SUV made 310 pound-feet of torque. The automaker’s predictive all-wheel-drive system is standard equipment on the Signature trim and is also an available option on the rest of the versions coming to our showroom.
